Bringing Reggio Home, by Louise Boyd Cadwell
Cadwell was one of the first Americans to have a year-long internship in the preschools of Reggio Emilia, Italy. The first three chapters of her book tell of that experience. The rest of the book contains “mini-stories” of her four-year adaptation effort in an American school in St. Louis.
In the Spirit of the Studio: Learning from the Atelier of Reggio Emilia, by Lella Gandini, et al.
A collection of interviews with Italian atelieristi alternating with articles by Americans. With this organization, the book presents a kind of dialogue among cultures, ideas and continuously deepening theories and practices.
